This coastal dynamic, coupled with the rupture of Prainha Resort\u2019s pool piping, provoked a landslide which left the pool\u2019s fundations exposed and unsupported, causing a high risk situation.<\/p>\n<p>Nemus was called upon by the resort to perform a <b>geotechnical investigation campaign <\/b>to ascertain the real extension of the inner rupture.<\/p>\n<p>This geotechnical investigation, comprised of <b>four surveys<\/b>, detailed geological <b>surveys<\/b> and <b>geotechnical <i>in situ <\/i>and laboratory testing<\/b>, enabled the defining of priority emergency measures to minimize the instability effects until construction on the contention and stability of the pool started.<\/p>\n<p><b>Risk analysis and geodynamic projects <\/b>are one of <b>Nemus\u2019 specialties<\/b>, particularly in coastal areas.
