The documents are now being subjected to Public Participation, a step of the utmost relevance to the consolidation of the Plans.<\/p>\n<p>In July, the results of the Alentejo Plans were presented and discussed in the Main Auditorium of the National Laboratory of Civil Engineering (LNEC) in Lisbon. The Guadiana (River Basin District 7)\u00a0RBMP\u00a0and Sado and Mira (RBD6)RBMP\u00a0are available for public participation until the end of January 2012.<\/p>\n<p>The Ribeiras do Algarve (RBD6)\u00a0RBMP\u00a0was presented in September and public participation will run until March 19, 2012.<\/p>\n<p>Still at the drafting stage, both Administrations of the River Basin Districts (Alentejo and Algarve) promoted public participation forums, embodying the will of these institutions to develop plans with strong public support.
