The cultural suggestions section of Nemus\u2019 team has more ideas to share. Read this week\u2019s texts and see what our two colleagues suggest.<\/em><\/p>\n

“One of these days marks the beginning of the blue week<\/a><\/u> which brings together dozens of initiatives dedicated to the sea and for which the crown jewel is undoubtedly the World Ocean Summit 2015 <\/strong>in Cascais, dedicated to the theme “Blue economy; blue growth”<\/a><\/u>, and which includes the presence of various experts and global decision-makers.<\/p>\n

This maritime week, my suggestions are no exception. Not to be missed (for anything …!) is this brilliant combination of water and live music: Acoustic Concerts from Rodrigo Le\u00e3o’s new disc “Submerged Forests”<\/strong> in the Lisbon Oceanarium, which is part of the recently open new exhibition of planted aquariums (link<\/a><\/u>). I also suggest having a peek at the programme for the Portugal Ocean in Motion Film Festival<\/strong> (4-6 June) (link here<\/a><\/u>) which will display movies at the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation and the Centro Cultural de Cascais (indoors and outdoors). A bit further away, at the Centro Ci\u00eancia Viva do Lousal, the sea is also celebrated with the exhibition Underwater Photography \u2013 Underwater <\/strong>(link<\/a>) by Peter R\u00e9, open until the end of the summer. Sara specializes in botany and marine biology and coordinates the functional area of ecology and biodiversity at Nemus. In love with the sea, she is always aware of all marine initiatives and somehow finds time to be present in almost all of them. Since Sara is also responsible for Nemus\u2019 site, it wasn\u2019t very difficult to convince the editorial team to publish her suggestions…<\/em><\/p>\n

\u201cThis weekend, I suggest visiting the 12th Edition of Serralves em Festa<\/strong>, because this event always includes shows for all tastes and because any excuse is good enough to visit Oporto in general, and Serralves in particular!<\/p>\n
