Out of Office Auto Reply nr.5

Please read our new and good suggestions for this weekend, by an unexpected duo: the longest lasting member of the team and the most recent one.

“The 32nd Theatre Festival of Almada continues during this weekend: a good opportunity to see the best, on a national and international level. On Saturday I may suggest ‘The Homecoming’, script by Harold Pinter and staging by the renown Peter Stein (Theatre D. Maria II, 9 p.m.). On Sunday, ‘The lady from the sea’, a classic by Ibsen, form the Talu Produções theatre company (D. António Costa School, Almada, 10:30 p.m.).

Suggested by Elisabete Teixeira (Project Manager / Landscape Architect)

Elisabete has been working with Nemus since the company’s earliest times, and she’s taken part in more than 200 projects as specialist or as coordinator. She’s been colleague to dozens of Nemus’ collaborators, yet she can name all of them…! Here at Nemus, Elisabete is known by her passions for literature and theatre. Please take this suggestion seriously, as it comes from a bona fide specialist in the “fifth art”.

“This weekend the capital city welcomes the event ‘Eating Lisbon’ (‘Comer Lisboa’). In this interactive event, people are invited to build an edible model of the city, based on the local gastronomic traditions and under the supervision of the artists Alicia Ríos and Barbara Ortiz, that have already reproduced the cities of London and Melbourne in other occasions. At the end of this free entrance event, everyone is invited to taste a piece of Lisbon.

More about this event in here. Good appetite!”

Suggested by João Lopes (Environmental engineer)

João is the most recent member of Nemus’ team. He has only joined the team a few days ago but he didn’t say ‘no’ to our invitation to write a suggestion for the Out of Office section of the website. We all welcome João to the team and promise to greet him with lots of good and defying challenges.
