The ring road with 74 km around Maputo, with more than 50 km added to the original, is an essential infrastructure for the development of the region, distributing the Maputo traffic in a better way and facilitating the access to different parts of the city.
Using the highest international standards for conducting such studies, Nemus assessed the environmental impact of this project, analyzing with greater detail the aspects regarding socioeconomics, ecology and coastal evolution.
The conclusions highlighted the positive impacts of the project on the improvement of accessibility and its strategic contribution to the sustainable economic development of the Maputo region with a very positive effect on the enhancement of the tourism industry.
