Caribbean Framework for Integrated Coastal Zone Management – Grenada, Jamaica, Saint Lucia and Saint Vincent and the Grenadines

The overall objective of the project was to ensure that the principles and objectives of Integrated Coastal Zone Management (ICZM) were integrated into decision-making for new developments and contribute to the sustainable and equitable management of coastal land, habitats and resources.

To this end, the consultancy included assessments of the national, municipal and local governance structures for decision-making on development initiatives and actions, and provided recommendations for mainstreaming ICZM into decision-making for sustainable socio-economic development outcomes.
